Meet our Chair

Kevin Philips - Clinical Fellow - St James’s University Hospital, Leeds NHS Trust

Dr Kevin Philips is a Clinical Fellow specialising in Abdominal Radiology, with a passion for bridging the gap between clinical practice, academia (education and research), and leadership through industry innovation. He has published in leading radiology journals and presented at major national and international conferences. Currently, he is pursuing Clinical Radiology fellowships at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds NHS Trust, followed by an advanced Abdominal Imaging fellowship at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, University of Toronto, Canada.

As an educational leader, Dr Philips represents UK trainees in the British Institute of Radiology’s AI and Innovation section and serves on the Advisory Panel for the BIR’s Online Learning Library. His commitment is further demonstrated by his role at the International Imaging Congress 2024, where he will moderate the AXREM Learning Hub and Portfolio Careers sections, participate on the Future Leaders panel, and mentor in the IIC Industry Partner Apprentice Programme. Dr Philips is dedicated to enhancing patient care and the wider radiology community in alignment with the future direction of the NHS.
