We are thrilled to announce the newest members of our team for the IIC Apprentice Programme. After an intense and competitive selection process, we are proud to welcome two outstanding apprentices who will be joining us at the International Imaging Congress 2024! 

Dr. Dhikshitha Gokulakrishnan 

Dhikshitha recently completed foundation training at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, honing her clinical skills and gaining valuable patient care experience. She has also worked in health technology, serving as a Partnerships Leader and Operations Manager at Becoming a Doctor and Health Careers Live. With a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Research, Dr. Gokulakrishnan possesses a strong foundation in public health principles and research methodologies. Her skills include research, public speaking, project management, and public relations. Passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology, she has a keen interest in digital health, artificial intelligence, and global health. Dr. Gokulakrishnan is dedicated to advancing healthcare through technology and research to improve patient outcomes and drive the evolution of modern medicine. 

Dr. Salman Arain 

Salman is a radiology trainee with a strong leadership and event management background. He has organized large events, led a £60,000 renovation project, currently secures sponsorships, and is organizing an annual conference for the Society of Radiologists in Training (SRT). He is also the regional lead for the North of the United Kingdom for the UK National Interventional Radiology Trainee Research (UNITE) Collaborative. Passionate about health IT, AI, and med tech, Salman is involved in advanced projects in radiomics and AI. He is excited to contribute to IIC 2024 and further his career in radiology and technology. 

These two exceptional individuals bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to our programme. We are confident that their contributions will significantly enhance the Congress and the industry at large.
